Hello, I’m glad you’re here!
I’m Johanna, a trilingual artist, language teacher and research consultant, living and working in the north of England. My academic background is cognitive psychology and I’ve been researching the impact of bilingualism on the brain. After a successful career in this field, I’ve decided to pursue my lifelong passion of art and have swapped my desk for an easel.
Having lived in four countries and travelled through several others, my work is inspired by places I’ve been to and the people I’ve met during my travels. I love working with oils and watercolours, but I equally enjoy life drawing sessions and sketching when abroad.
